It all started in 1982, when two young civil engineers, Michael Mavroleon and Andreas Alexiadis, utilized their professional experience in the United States to found the A&M Group. A&M’s main mission was the provision of design and construction services, with emphasis on new technologies and energy-efficient applications. Apostolos Papaoikonomou soon joined the team. Three years later the Α&Μ Architects company was founded. In the following years, Α&Μ Architects undertook numerous public and private projects in Greece.

In 2006, under Michael Mavroleon’s management, the company extended its activities to Europe and the Middle East. Today, it is housed in a newly constructed 5-storey building in the centre of Athens and offers a comprehensive set of services, including the design of buildings, construction works, project & construction management and last but not least, corporate branding as part of a broader design package.
