Who

The U.S. pharmaceutical company PFIZER Incorporated, a global leader in product sales, has more than 60 years of presence in Greece. Due to its rapid growth, in 1997 the company decided to purchase a plot of land in Neo Psychiko, in order to build its new offices. A&M was present at every stage, from purchasing land to relocating the company to its new offices, providing consulting, engineering services and co-ordinating the workflow – in close cooperation with the Global Engineering Department of PFIZER in New York.

What

A&Μ undertook the  Design & Project Management of the PFIZER 243 project, closely adhering to the high standards of PFIZER – both on an aesthetic and a functional level. The A&M team delivered a completely autonomous building. A unique atrium forms the core of the complex, while the rest of its uses unfold around it. The final result drew positive reactions from everybody, first and foremost from the company’s employees.  The construction was implemented by J&P- Avax and the A&M design team comprised K. Giannoulakis (Structural), S. Dimitriou (Electrical Engineering) and L. Douridas (Project Management).

Where

On 243 Mesogeion Avenue in Neo Psychiko. The new, privately owned PFIZER offices include 2 underground parking spaces of 60 car capacity each, a ground floor auditorium of 110 seats and 4 levels above the ground, housing 120 employees.

When

The two companies started to collaborate in 1997, at a time when the headquarters of PFIZER HELLAS were situated on 5 Alketou Street in Pangrati. The company moved to its new building in 2000 while, six years later, growing needs dictated the construction of a second building on 255 Mesogeion Avenue. A&M was always there to provide its services.
