Who

The Q Business Center involves the conception and implementation of a breakthrough idea, to be applied in an innovative building complex. The Quality Group company, pioneer in the field of housing development and real estate on Cyprus, is aiming to create, through the implementation of an inspired design concept, a business hub that will be surrounded by premium services. The A&M office formulated its own design for the implementation of this project, as part of an inspired architectural proposal.

What

The range of services offered by the QBC is based on the design, by the Α&Μ office, of a state-of-the-art conference center, office spaces for companies wishing to lease short-stay facilities, a hotel, bar, restaurants, exhibition spaces, banks and concept stores with specific objectives that fit in the innovative approach of the Business Center. The project is based on flexible building design and bioclimatic architecture, aiming to minimize operational costs.

Where

The QBC presence at the heart of Larnaca’s financial centre, which is constantly developing, aims to create a new potential for business development. The QBC’s objective is to consolidate the complex as a landmark of innovative business activity, not only within Larnaca or Cyprus, but also beyond the island’s borders.

When

Α&Μ’s design of an alternative proposal for the QBC was completed in 2010. This original project is a case study for mixed-use real estate development, which can be implemented in urban areas of regions dealing with international commerce in the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
